Daughters of Soul

Daughters of Soul
Regisseur: Jeroen Berkvens

In Daughters of Soul five daughters of world-renowned soul stars meet one another both in past and present. The daughters of Nina Simone, Bill Withers, Sly Stone, Chaka Khan and Donny Hathaway prepare for a series of large-scale concerts, which will see them performing the music of their parents as well as their own. Along the way the histories of their youths intersect. In a setting of mutual connectedness the five singers present their stories to the world for the first time.
