The Golden Bird (IN RESEARCH)

In a land shattered by violence and hatred, a family of young peasants tenaciously works the barren soil inherited by their ancestors, a landowner tries to save nature from ecocide, a dancer strives to build back her life and to inspire her young female students in a country where femicides are the order of the day, and a president does his outmost to change the soul if his devastated nation.

 

THE GOLDEN BIRD is a Zeppers Film production and is funded for research by The Netherlands Film Fund.

Diego Gutierrez studied fine arts in Mexico City. He works as a director, screenwriter and editor. With Parts of a Family (2012) he won the Golden Calf for Best Long Documentary.
